Excel Business Systems has one of the largest service departments in the region. We are self-contained and use no outside contractors to provide service to our customers. We are committed to bringing our customers the highest quality of service and support this region has to offer.
Computer Dispatch and Parts Distribution System
Excel Business Systems uses a “state of the art” computer dispatch system. It provides detailed logistical information such as, date/time of service call, response time, total number of service calls, etc. Detailed information is then compiled into a variety of reports allowing us to identify future trends and/or problems.
Extensive Parts Inventory
Our large parts inventory helps provide quick and efficient repairs should you need them. The main depository is located at our corporate headquarters facility in Newark, DE. From this location we distribute parts throughout the region.
Our “local” technicians carry a significant inventory at all times and are dispatched with this in mind.
Experienced Service Personnel
We maintain a large staff of qualified service technicians that are dedicated to keeping your equipment at peak performance. Over one-third of these people have been with Excel Business Systems for fifteen years or longer. They are factory certified and our service department has won many “excellence” awards. We have a “first fix” rate of over eighty percent, which means that over eighty percent of all our service calls are repaired on the first visit. This is testament to the skill level and leadership of our service department. All are dedicated to keeping your equipment running at peak performance.
Network Certified Specialist
In addition to the copier field service technicians, we employ certified network specialists. These people provide pre and post sales service and support of our connected copiers and our wide range of software offerings.
